Water Quality Management Workshops, June 2007 – May 2008

Are you involved with water quality management?  Do you want to learn more about the National Water Quality Management Strategy (NWQMS) guidelines? The Department of the Environment and Water Resources is running approximately 20 workshops throughout Australia's natural resource management regions from June 2007 to May 2008.

The workshops will:

• provide participants with skills for water quality planning
• assist in the development of plans and actions that identify local water quality objectives, water quality targets, and monitoring and reporting frameworks
• provide examples based on local water quality issues
