Welcome to our October Enews edition. In very exciting news, local boaties are starting to report Dugongs sightings around the Bay, thanks to the Seagrass Friendly Mooring.

Further inland, works have commenced to restore and strengthen sections of the badly flood affected Laidley Creek.

Last month saw the wrap up of another successful Queensland Landcare Conference, where the Quandamooka and SunCoast FarmFLOW both picked up awards.

The annual Healthy Waterways annual Report Card launch is just around the corner, as well as Moreton Bay’s 20th Anniversary of the Ramsar Convention.

Happy reading and as always, feel free to provide us with any feedback.
