For the last year and a half, SEQ Catchments has been helping facilitate a climate adaptation plan for the Noosa Biosphere in partnership with Noosa Biosphere Ltd, Noosa Residents & Ratepayers and the University of the Sunshine Coast. The work of six public meetings has been synthesised into a Draft Noosa Climate Action Plan launched at Noosa Biosphere Day in September and is currently out for comment until November 15th.

An opportunity to discuss the plan and its implementation will be combined with an information evening about the Qld Coastal Plan, the local wildlife corridors of the Noosa Biosphere and neighbourhood options for solar energy on October 27th at the Peregian Community House.
