SEQC and partners received a Merit Award at the recent Planning Institute of Australia Awards for the development of Implementing SEQ Regional NRM Plan Targets through Planning Schemes: A Decision Support Tool For South East Queensland Local Government Planners.

The Tool was produced by SEQ Catchments, Department of Infrastructure and Planning, Burnet Mary Regional Group, Brisbane City Council, Logan City Council, Lockyer Valley Regional Council and the Council of Mayors (SEQ). The Project was coordinated by the Local Government Association of Queensland and Buckley Vann Town Planning Consultants. The tool helps councils integrate the SEQ NRM Plan targets into planning schemes.
