SEQC continues to play an active role in the incorporation of the SEQ NRM Plan targets in the development scheme for Flagstone, a new suburb being developed from the ground up in the Logan local government area.

The assessment of the impact of the Flagstone UDA on the SEQ NRM Plan targets has been well received by the Urban Land Development Authority and will be consulted as part of the development scheme.

SEQC, as a member of the CEOs Committee for NRM, is working to limit the impact development has on the achievement of the critical targets in the NRM Plan. A process to offset any impacts that do occur is also required and is being considered as part of the Flagstone UDA.
