1. SEQ Catchments is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the CFO has responsibility for the financial, commercial and business services strategic direction of the group as well oversee the functional areas of finance, contracts, human resources, information and communication technology and corporate services. A key focus of the role will be to lead and manage the Company’s financial systems and contractual matters providing full support and commercial business acumen across the Company’s businesses.

The successful candidate will be tertiary and CPA/CA qualified and possess:
• Experience in successfully leading a finance function
• Demonstrated ability to produce annual statutory and management accounts
• Ability to deal with complex financial issues, including corporate legal structure, in a commercial environment
• Strong communications and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to and implement business strategy
• Have experience with Board governance and preferably have successfully completed the AICD Directors training
• Understanding of commercial contracts
• A collaborative working style and proactive approach
• MBA or other relevant post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded
