South East Queensland is blessed with a large number of community based groups that focus on managing, protecting and restoring various aspects of South East Queensland’s natural resources. Landcare is a grass roots movement that harnesses individuals and groups under the ethic of caring for the land.
In 2012, in response to feedback from the community it was identified that a more coordinated approach was needed in accessing information currently available from a range of resources. Following a consultation process, the following resource kit was developed which allows groups (future and existing) to access information from a centralised location.
As more information becomes available, we will be updating this resource kit to keep it current and useful. If you can’t find what you are looking for, or would like to provide feedback on the kit, please contact SEQ Catchments at firstname.lastname@example.org or (07) 3211 4404.
This resource kit is funded by SEQ Catchments Ltd, and the SEQ Regional Landcare Facilitator, through funding from the Australian Government’s Caring for our Country.Find your local Landcare group What is Landcare Management & governance Insurance Health & safety Funding Starting a new group Attracting & retaining volunteers Burn-out & leadership
